The Life Of Kara Marie In A Nutshell :): January 2012

So basically.. We had alittle mishap with the dishwasher this week.. My dear roommate ( I won't say who just incase she doesn't want me too) decided that she needed to put a ton of soap in the dishwasher. Who knows why.. haha. Anyways it turns out that our dishwasher was not happy and decided to spit out the bubbles and soap out of the bottom of our dishwasher! Yes, it was grand! I woke up to the floor covered in soap and the dishwasher was pretty much drooling. I couldn't help but laugh at how many soap bubbles there were. I took a few pics to show you the action you missed out on!

So that was a fun little mishap we had that I thought I'd share will all of you! Now onto my next escapade! My roommate Rachel found this thing on college humor, where they put cotton balls in water and put them on someone's truck. Overnight they would freeze on. It was pretty funny and so she decided that we needed to do this to our FHE brothers. Now like I said before my FHE brothers drive these huge dodge trucks and are quite the rowdy bunch.. One of the boys was making fun of asians/ koreans... Jeanie my roommate happens to be korean.. So we left them a lovely note:) We expect to have a war with them. Pretty sure they will do something back to us.. we just have no idea what! Anyways we bundled up in our gear and set out to put cotton balls on one of the trucks. Here are the pics!

Well! Hello peeps! Welcome to my life in a nutshell.. I don't even know where to begin, but I was told I need to blog! So here I am rocking out to Selena Gomez on my couch.. at a total loss as of what to say. I guess I should start out saying that I have survived my first week of sophmore year! Hooray! I couldn't be happier. Also I already have Monday off. HOW RAD IS THAT?! Anyways. I love my classes so much. They all are going to be a great learning experience. Yes it will be a lot of work, but with the right attitude.. it should all be worth it! HOORAY! This year I am living off campus in apartments! I live at Baronessa and I love it! All my roommates are so stinking amazing! To prove this to you.. I have an awesome picture I would like to share..

Yes, these lovely girls would be two of my awesome roommates! Rachel and Carolina.. sporting the asian glasses from our other roommate Jeanie :) This is my life. Full of laughter with great roommates. The other two girls, D'laynie and Savanna are both engaged! They both are getting married in April and we all are so excited for them! Savanna just so happens to be engaged to Tyson Kaiser. From my home ward. So yeah. That's legit. This is what life is like as a Mormon.. the world just isn't big enough! Haha. But it's cool. Anyways! Got awesome roommates love em all.. next topic..

OH YEAH. My sister is here with me this year! HOLLA. We hang out like everyday.. and she just won't leave me alone... HAH! JUST KIDDING. It's like impossible to hang out with her.. It's like she has her own life or something with a sexy man wall and fish.. and roommates.. who knew? Haha but yeah! It's great she is up here. It makes it a little bit easier to be here knowing that I have her to chill with when I start getting home sick. Hmm.. what else..

I love my ward! Our bishop is such a great guy. I'm really excited because this is the first time where I feel like the bishop is here for us and truly cares! Man he is great. Our FHE group is pretty fantastic as well! Of course we got the most rowdy boys in the ward.. but that's alright! It's gonna be fun!

I went to Idaho Falls last Saturday with the one and only Vanessa! My german buddy! 3 semesters of German together and we are still alive! We decided that we needed a day out just to relax after the first couple stressful days of class! We went shopping and I got a shirt and tank tops and a bracelet and headphones and it was amazing sales I would like to say! We went and saw We bought a Zoo. Which I absolutely loved it! I thought it was so cute! It definitely was a day well spent! This is a picture of the walls at the theater that just made me happy! The headlights were the lights and it was just so cool! See!

OH MAN! I went country dancing for the first time!!! AH! Yeah okay. So my lovely roommate Rachel decided we needed to go.. So basically I was like if you can get Carolina to go.. I will. And then she said yes. So I invited our FHE brothers over to play games.. and she was like well you said you'd go and I was like yeah.. if you can get the boys to go then I will. Turns out they love to dance and go to these things on occasion.. Yeah awesome. I had to go. Haha I learned how to do the cowboy chacha. I was like horrible but I still had a blast dancing with the boys and just being crazy. It ended up being fun! Who knew that country dancing could be fun.. Oh wait. It was only fun cause I have awesome FHE brothers. It also helps that they just so happen to be cute. The boys took us home and it turns out that one of them just so happens to drive this huge truck. Yes. Sexy I know. Anyways they drove us up to our door.. Literally drove up the side walk and opened the door and there was our door. It was insane and highly embarrassing seeing as this huge truck was on the side walk and it's super loud so everyone was opening their doors like oh my gosh we are gonna die and it was just us getting dropped off. It was pretty funny though I must admit.

Don't go thinking that all I do is party and have fun now.. I do have hw every stinking day and I am working really hard to make sure my grades are good! You all know I hate school so this is a HUGE accomplishment for me! Here are a few pics to show you how legit I am :)
